The Ministry of Health & Family welfare is implementing National Tobacco control programme throughout the country. Under the Programme, National Tobacco Testing Laboratories is being set up at Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory (RDTL), Guwahati. Director, Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory (RDTL), Guwahati invites applications from candidates for the following contractual posts to be engaged at the National Tobacco eligible Testing Laboratories, Guwahati within 15 (fifteen) days of the publication of the advertisement.

Vacancy Details & Criteria

1. Senior Scientific Officer - I
• No. of post: 01
• Salary: Rs. 65,000/- per month.
• Age: 45 years (as on 01.07.2018)
• Education Qualifications:
• Essential: M.Sc. with Ph.D in Chemistry / Analytical Sciences/ Instrumentation/ studies related to tobacco and tobacco products.
• Desirable: 3 years research experience in natural products/ synthesis/ analysis of organic compounds/ bio-chemical/ pharmaceutical sciences.
2. Technical Assistant
• No. of posts: 02
• Salary: Rs. 38,000/- per month.
• Age: 45 years (as on 01.07.2018)
• Education Qualifications:
• Essential: M.Sc. or B.Sc./ B.Pharm with three years of experiences physical/ in chemical/ physical/ biological analysis/ computer applications.
• Desirable: Experience of operating analytics equipment.

Selection Method for Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory Guwahati recruitment:

Candidates will have to appear in an interview if called for. No TA/DA shall by paid to the candidates for appearing in the Interview.
